Race Day For Runners
We hope you are as excited for race day as we are! The resources below will answer many of the questions you may have about race day. Good Luck!
The race guide reigns supreme with all the essential information for the Good Life Halfsy and is a must read for all participants. Hard copies will be included in participant race packets.
The 2021 race guide will be released at least 2 weeks prior to race day.
Seacrest Field | 7198 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510
Parking will be located in both the East and West lots at Seacrest Field. Arrive early and carpool where possible. No cars will be admitted to the parking lot after 8:15 am. Please enter the parking areas from A Street as the 70th street entrance will be closed. Runners arriving at the Start Line area may be dropped off at Seacrest Field or are welcome to leave vehicles for the entire day.
Need to drop a layer before the gun goes off? We thought you might. Gear Check will be conveniently located near the start line up until race time. Your gear will be securely transported to the finish line where you can claim it by showing your race bib.
Bib lookup can be found here at least 2 weeks prior to race day. Bib assignments will also be emailed to participants 2 weeks prior to race day.
Railyard | 350 Canopy St, Lincoln, NE 68508
You’ll cross the epic finish line on Canopy Street and collect your medal, finish line refreshments bag, and have the option to have your finish line photo taken.
Need a ride back to the start line? Shuttle buses depart one block from the finish line at the Amtrak Station (7th & Arena Drive) and will take Good Life Halfsy finishers back to Seacrest Field up until 1:00 PM.
After a year off, we again are planning to have pacers for the 2021 race!
Hop in with a pace group on race morning to reach your goal. Pacers will use the SmartPacing strategy, easing into the first few miles, running hills at consistent effort and slowing down through water stations.
The Lexus of Lincoln pace team plans to have pacers at the following times 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25, 2:30, 2:35, 2:40, 2:45 and 2:50.
